“Visa LINE Pay prepaid card” with the industry’s highest standard of 2% reduction-Keitai Watch

For Surface Duo 2 users who do not have FeliCa, “Visa’s touch payment”, which allows you to make payments simply by holding your smartphone over it, is very convenient. Among the many payment methods that support Visa’s touch payment, my favorite is LINE’s “Visa LINE Pay prepaid card”.

Visa LINE Pay prepaid card

Although the name is a prepaid card, it is not actually a physical card, but a virtual prepaid card that can be used in a smartphone.

There are several conditions for 2% point reduction, one of which is contactless payment including Visa touch payment. It can also be used for online shopping, but in that case the return rate will be 0.5%.

Another upper limit is that the monthly point limit is 5000 points. However, in order to meet the upper limit of 5000 points, it is necessary to pay 250,000 yen per month, so it is an amount that will not be achieved unless you make a very large purchase.

Also, unlike post-pay type credit cards, which are billed later, it is necessary to charge the amount in advance. In my case, I have an auto-charge setting that charges 10,000 yen when the balance drops below 10,000 yen, so that you can’t pay if you don’t have enough charge in an emergency.

Although there is an upper limit of 250,000 yen and an auto-charge setting, the 2% return rate is modest but attractive. It can be used not only with Visa’s touch payment, but also with iD and Apple Pay, so if you often use contactless payment, please consider it.
