Virtually CO2-neutral synthetic fuel

Credible alternative to electric power to power cars, fuels synthetics can be used in conventional combustion engines and are almost neutral in CO2. Au Chili, the company Highly Innovative Fuels has started production of eFuel made from water and carbon dioxide captured from the air, using wind power. And it was a Porsche 911 which was the first to refuel on the site.

Growing production

Initially, the annual production will be 130,000 litres, used in flagship projects such as the Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup and in the Porsche Experience Centers. The volume will then increase to 55 million liters within two years, reaching 550 million liters in 2027.
