Virtual reality comes to Resident Evil 8: Village thanks to a fan mod

One of the features that fans of the Capcom saga missed the most in Resident Evil 8: Village was the chance to play the title from start to finish in virtual realityan option that was available from launch in the version of Resident Evil 7 para PS4 thanks to PS VR. Luckily, the mud Praydogwhich we have already told you regarding on previous occasions for bringing virtual reality to Resident Evil 2 Remake, Resident Evil 3 Remake y Resident Evil 7 in their PC versions thanks to a modhas released its first version of it mod for Village with impressive results as you can see in the following video:

Ian Highton, member of Eurogamer, has been able to test the mod for the first time and, as you can see in the video, he had a terrifying time. The mod has a level of care that, beyond allowing us to play with a conventional controller, allows users to connect special controls to perform full movements. Praydog intends to launch mod completely free of charge so that computer gamers can experience first-hand the eighth numbered installment of Resident Evil from a new and immersive perspective; you can support their future projects through their page of Patreon.

When will we get news of the Village DLC?

Capcom announced at the beginning of the Ecom 2021 Capcom Showcase that, by popular demand, they had decided to start the DLC development for Resident Evil Village. At the moment, the Japanese company has not commented on these expansions that might include content that was discarded during the development of the title, although it would not surprise us that we soon learned more regarding the subject in view of the good numbers that the game has harvested since its launch.
