Virtual high school announced for Venezuelan migrants

Compatriots residing abroad and adults without a high school diploma, tThey will have the opportunity to access inclusive and quality education through virtual training offered by the Edúcate en Venezuela platform.

Through a video conference, the Vice Minister of Secondary Education, Nancy Ortuño, together with the Vice Minister of Comprehensive Care for Venezuelan Migration, Pedro Sassone, and the directors of the Centers for the Development of Educational Quality in the national territory, presented the platform and the online baccalaureate modality to the country’s diplomatic corps..

From the Bolívar Hall at the Ministry of Education headquarters in Caracas, Sassone explained that the program’s mission is to project public policy institutions to other nations.

The platform is available to compatriots regardless of the country they are in, their age and economic level, the Ministry of Education said in a press release.

“We will have the opportunity to discuss it.. The management model needs to be changed to create a platform with complexity, scope, and the need for technical expertise and participation,” said the Vice Minister.

The virtual baccalaureate modality is based on two fundamental dimensions: access to education as a fundamental tool for improving quality of life and social protection.
