“We are filing an appeal once morest the divorce decision to the DKI Jakarta High Religious Court via the West Jakarta Religious Court,” said Wijayono Hadi Sukrisno when met by journalists at the South Jakarta Metro Police Headquarters, Friday

According to Wijayono Hadi Sukrisno, Virgoun disagreed with a number of things related to the divorce decision of the West Jakarta Religious Court.

“One of them is regarding royalties for the song (Love Letter to Starla), because there is no legal certainty,” he said.

Royalties for the song Surat Cinta for Starla are one of the subjects of the lawsuit filed by Inara Rusli as one of the shared assets that must be divided following divorce.

In her lawsuit, Inara Rusli also demands mut’ah income of IDR 12 billion and royalties for the song Virgoun which she created following being inspired by her children.

However, Virgoun felt unable to provide IDR 12 billion in support to Inara Rusli even though he did not ask the famous musician to pay the support directly.

Regarding song royalties, Inara Rusli considers this to be in accordance with her agreement with Virgoun.

“Everything is according to agreement, including joint property,” said Inara Rusli.
