Virginia Tech thought they had upset No. 7 Miami on the road, but the victory was, almost literally, ripped out of their hands.
With three seconds left and down four points, Hokies quarterback Kyron Drones broadcast it to the back of the end zone to a swarm of Hokies and Hurricanes.
To the naked eye, it was difficult to tell who initially got the ball, as seven players lunged for it.
After some shoving, a Miami defensive back made off with the pigskin and the celebrations began.

But there was a lengthy review and officials overturned the decision, giving the Hurricanes a 38-34 victory and putting the Hokies in absolute disbelief.
