Maximum FM interview with Virginia Rodríguez Mhun, the director of the INSES industrial park project, located in San Cristóbal, an initiative of the Railway Union for the recovery and enhancement of more than 44,000 m² of railway land.
The director expressed that “The first stage of the project focused on the modernization of all the offices of the central building, the incorporation of computer systems, the recovery of historical furniture and the installation of a control and monitoring center with the latest technology. And we can already say with great satisfaction that the settlement in this place of a private company has been confirmed, which will be the first of many to choose this place for its roots.
In addition, the project also contemplates the installation of a primary health care center and the management so that an intermediate delegation of Anses and a Renaper ID and passport management center can be established at the central offices.
According to Mhun, “the main objective of the project is the establishment of industries and companies in the industrial park, as well as the installation of a training center to complement professional training, school completion, university degrees and training courses in different specialties” .
Regarding the benefits that the project will bring to the city, Mhun points out that “the establishment of companies will generate employment and economic development in the area, and the installation of health benefits and management services will facilitate access to procedures and services for the community. This project will have its drift in Ceresbecause as a ceresina I want this to have an impact on my city, “he said.
The INSES project is a sample of how the recovery and enhancement of abandoned railway land can be a great opportunity for the development of the local community and the generation of employment and economic prosperity. “This is how we planned it with Serio-Sasia- in 2019, and we began to translate it into reality from 2021, today more than 35 people are working throughout the building,” he highlighted.
