L’association Vira’ Blues program his new evening Blues at the restaurant La Dona in Virazeil this Friday, March 3, 2023 at 8 p.m. with the Backscratchers.
The creed of the Backscratchers is black American music of the 50s and 60s and more particularly Blues, Swing and Rock’n Roll.
From Chicago, Memphis and New Orleans, they pay homage to the masters of the genre and cultivate the most authentic sound, without artifice.
Piano-guitare duet
– au pianoharmonica, and singing Vincent Pollet Villardwhose musical journey has led for more than twenty years to perform on the stages of New Orleans (where he lived for two years and drew his inspiration there), Montreal and the biggest European Festivals (Cognac, Blues-sur- Seine, Jazz in Marciac, Saint Emilion, Summer Scenes….)
– A la guitare, Florian Royofinalist of the International Blues Challenge in Memphis alongside Nico Wayne Toussaint, accompanist for 10 years of Miss Nickky, Bo Weavil, Las Vargas and many other American musicians.
They deliver on stage a powerful mixture, an addictive potion whose various ingredients form the perfect beverage for an evening rich in energy and emotions.
