Mumbai: Cricketer Virat Kohli has converted legendary singer Kishore Kumar’s bungalow in Mumbai into an exquisite restaurant.
Kohli rented a part of Gauri Kunju’s bungalow for five years. Shyamkhala, a restaurant owned by the star, ‘One Eight Commune’ started here. Leading actor Manish Paul and Kohli are introducing the restaurant to the fans. In the video, both reveal their unique food stories.
Kohli, who says he is a big fan of Kishore Kumar, sings some lines from his song ‘Mere Mehboob Qayamat Hogi’. ‘His songs really touched me. If someone asks me who would you like to see, I always say Kishore da because he was so charismatic,’ says Kohli.
Currently, One Eight Commune restaurants are operating in Delhi, Kolkata and Pune.
