Viral video: Enraged… turkey vandalized a car 2024-07-31 15:29:01

The viral video posted on TikTok shows the turkey pecking, clawing and jumping on the black car – a freak attack that lasted 15 minutes and may have been sparked when the animal saw its reflection on the side of the car.

Audi owner Alicia Mastroianni first believed someone hit her parked car when she stepped outside and saw the damage on her way to work at Boston Children’s Hospital on July 15, WBZ News reported.

But then she spotted a note on her windshield. The note was from a good Samaritan who videotaped the turkey’s strange attack and wanted to make sure Mastroianni knew what had happened.

“I just watched and recorded a huge turkey attacking your car for over 15 minutes! It looks pretty scratchy. I tried to scare it, but it ignored me,” the note reads.

When he saw all the damage, he told Boston 25, “I think my jaw just hit the floor.”

“The funny thing is, I lived in a rural farm town in Maryland where we have all kinds of animals like deer, foxes, the occasional turkey or peacock,” Mastroianni told the station.

“I was preparing to move to this big city and made a list of all the things I needed to be prepared for. I can honestly tell you that a turkey attacking my car was not on the list.”

When Mastroianni filed a claim with her insurance company, there was indeed an “animal damage to a parked car” option, so she shouldn’t have a problem getting the damage covered.
