Through the social network TikTok, a young man identified as Abraham Jiménez in Mexico, announced that no member of his family attended his university graduation ceremony, where he allegedly received his academic diploma with an outstanding average.

Academic recognition is granted to students who manage to maintain a general average higher than 9.5, which is why it implies a significant effort for the person who manages to achieve that merit.

Although the young man did not provide many additional details in his publication, the click managed to go viral on social networks, accumulating millions of views and generating a compilation of comments and reactions on TikTok.

The situation led some users to congratulate the young man for his achievement and encourage him to continue pursuing his goals despite the alleged lack of support from his family for achieving that average.

“Remember that only you know how the path was taken to reach that goal. So you don’t need anyone other than the protagonist of the story”, “Congratulations, they didn’t go but many of us are proud of you”, “I went in a cap and gown on foot to the church, no one wanted to take me except accompany me and the photographer tell me and your young family?”, “It breaks my heart to read all these comments, when I would give anything because my son would have liked school and being at his graduation,” are another of the comments that can be read in the publication.

The young man also expressed that he was not looking for fame in this way, due to the growing attention he received on social networks. Abraham Jiménez has more than 70 thousand followers, while on Instagram he has 16 thousand.

Another video that went viral on TikTok is that of a citizen of Bogotá, identified on the social network as @nanaaunclick, where she released a complaint that reveals a new modus operandi of criminals who steal cell phones in public service from the country’s capital.

In her video, the woman warns that the thieves have now used the same feeling of insecurity that Bogota residents have when faced with the occurrence of robberies, and have resorted to this to devise a plan that helps them strip people of their personal items. , supported by the ‘solidarity’ of other passengers, and the so-called “justice at their own hands.”

For this reason, the young woman pointed out that although “we Bogota residents are tired of insecurity, of an absent authority” it is necessary to act with prudence, since criminal gangs “are taking advantage of that.”

Although this may be a warning that is difficult to understand at first glance, it is a reality that is now experienced in the streets of Bogotá according to the tiktoker, who explained this new modality that is generally presented on buses, but that might well be used in a public place.
