It has been two nights since the eastern suburbs of Liège have been on fire. After Oupeye, in the night from Friday to Saturday, it was Herstal, in that from Saturday to Sunday, which was the scene of urban violence. It was a police check that degenerated on Friday, in Oupeye, which served as the trigger. On Friday, a dangerously driving quad was checked by local police. After refusing to comply and having run over one of the two policemen, the quad was the target of two shots from the second policeman. One of the two hit the driver of the quad in the head and he died instantly. The two police officers are in hospital, one injured by the quad, the other in a state of shock. An investigation has been opened to determine the exact circumstances of the death, but the thugs have already delivered their verdict: for them, the policeman showed hasty shooting.
