Violent Robbery and Tragic Murder of Don Torcuato Businessman: Latest Updates and Investigation Details

This Friday followingnoon, a well-known businessman from Don Torcuato was strangled by three criminals. The victim was identified as Germán Sallemi, 25 years old, who was part of an important family firm dedicated to the real estate business and sold dollars on Facebook.

This was Sallemi’s arrival at the apartment where he was found dead.

The incident occurred in an apartment in the Hindu Club neighborhood of the northern area, in what appeared to be a meeting to buy and sell US currency. A neighbor called 911 following hearing loud screams during an argument between Sallemi and the criminals.

Officers from the 3rd police station showed up at the scene, where they found the businessman’s body lying on the floor and gagged with seals. According to police sources, the victim died from mechanical asphyxiation. The case was handled by prosecutor Pablo Masferrer.

Municipal cameras showed the moment when the criminals fled in a Chevrolet brand vehicle, Cruze model. The tracking of the car allowed us to see that the murderers escaped through Panamericana until they reached Pilar, and then entered the Malvinas Argentinas district.

In addition, private cameras near the apartment captured Sallemi’s arrival at the Hindu Club neighborhood in a black Volkswagen New Beetle. Days ago, she had published on his social network that he was selling dollars in the area.
