A man with a Pitbull-type dog showed up on the take-out side. At first, the son of the boss who was providing the service at that time did not immediately understand the request of the individual who repeated “I want 50%”. In reality, it was half the contents of the box that the man demanded. At first, his interlocutor, Jarod, thought it was a joke. The man then became more threatening and indicated that he would release his dog in the restaurant if his request was not met.
The man with the dog then got angry and violently punched the Plexiglas protection which is placed between the counter and the street during the winter season.
It came loose and landed in the kitchen. Obviously, the man thought he might grab the cash register but Jarod was not impressed and immediately jumped over the counter to detain the individual until the police arrived in the meantime. The thug, however, managed to free himself from the young man’s grip and fled. The entire scene was filmed by a surveillance camera.
The attacker – whose dog is apparently much less aggressive than the owner – was quickly identified as a man recently released from prison. An establishment that he risks returning to very soon.
The owner of the Café de Paris (Chez Greg et Véro), Grégory Dinoir also made it clear that the establishment’s cash register – as is the case in most of those in the sector – contains only a little cash, with the majority of transactions being carried out by card.
