A 34-year-old from the Ried district was traveling on the L1074 towards Geboltskirchen around 5:30 p.m. In Erledt (Geboltskirchen municipality), at the intersection with the L520, the man may have overlooked the car of a 44-year-old from the Wels-Land district coming from the right, who was driving with his wife (43) and his two daughters – 14 and 17 years old – was traveling towards Gaspoltshofen.
The vehicles crashed at right angles and the 34-year-old’s vehicle was thrown into a garden, according to the police.
The 34-year-old and the 43-year-old woman were injured to an unspecified degree and the 44-year-old driver was seriously injured. They had to be taken to the Ried Clinic by the rescue team. The two daughters remained uninjured.
Both cars were totaled.
