Violent Assault Leaves 23-Year-Old Woman Fighting for her Life at Nova Scotia Campground: Latest Updates and Investigation Details

A 23-year-old woman is between life and death following being violently assaulted at a Nova Scotia campground.

At around 2:15 a.m. Sunday morning, the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) were called to a campsite on Route 215 in Shubenacadie, Nova Scotia. Upon arrival, officers found the 23-year-old victim from Dartmouth. According to a statement from the RCMP, the lady was seriously injured. She was taken to hospital. Authorities fear for his life.

“Four adults, including the victim and the suspect, were staying in an RV when an argument broke out between the suspect and the victim,” RCMP said.

A 26-year-old man from Halifax has been arrested. He was charged with aggravated assault and remained in custody. He will be back at the courthouse on Monday for further proceedings.

The RCMP is continuing its investigation.
