During the night from Saturday to Sunday, the police officers from the rue Natalis police station in Liège saw a vehicle arrive in front of their doors with four people on board, including a corpse and a seriously injured individual, whose life is in danger. According to Sudinfo, it was an altercation between two vehicles that went wrong.
Indeed, our colleagues report that the occupants of the car which presented itself to the police would have made a fishtail to another vehicle (an Audi) on the highway. Following this, a chase began between the two cars, and ended at Wandre. There, shots would have been exchanged between the various protagonists. A bullet would then have hit one of the occupants of the first car and injured another in the head.
”What we know for the moment is that there was an altercation in front of a shisha bar in Wandre. This is where there would have been shots, ”said Catherine Collignon, spokesperson for the Liège prosecution, to RTBF. But there is currently no evidence that the shots came from one of the occupants of the Audi. It could be another person, called in as reinforcements during the chase.
An investigating judge was seized of the case, and several people deprived of their freedom after hearing.
