The atmosphere was tense on Wednesday May 3 on the set of Punchline (CNews). That day, Laurence Ferrari addressed a sensitive subject, namely the various violence recorded during the last demonstrations once morest the pension reform. To talk regarding it, Laurence Ferrarri invited journalist Thierry Vincent to his show, who wrote a book on black blocks. But his analysis was not at all understood by his neighbor Geoffroy Lejeune, editorial director at Current values. Laurence Ferrari did try to calm things down by asking one to be quiet and the other to sit down. “Can we continue this debate?“, she asked. But in vain since Thierry Vincent, exasperated, has truly abandoned the show. “Very well, we continue without you, what do you want me to tell you…“, commented the journalist, also a bit upset. And for her to conclude: “The debate must take place with respect for each other. We’re moving forward, it’s a shame because we had questions to ask“.
