Yambu: The Saudi Press Agency reported that 74 health centers have been closed in Saudi Arabia for violating the Covid safety rules. It is during six months of this year. According to the instructions of the Ministry of Health, the institutions were closed for violating the health and safety rules in regarding 3 lakh tests conducted in different regions of the country. Four hospitals, 43 medical centers, five pharmacies and 22 other establishments were forced to close due to violations of the law during the inspection, the officials said.

The Saudi Press Agency also reported that more than 6,600 health institutions, including 729 hospitals, 2,310 medical centers, 2,754 pharmacies, and 833 other health care centers, were fined within six months. Those concerned recalled that the law stipulates that establishments violating the health law will be fined heavily and, if necessary, shut down and license revoked for up to two years. The authorities warned that surveillance will continue to mitigate the spread of infectious diseases and protect public health.
