This is news that annoys second-hand enthusiasts. Since Thursday, the platform Vinted no longer allows payments via Paypal. On its site, the group invites its users “to use one of [ses] other payment methods to pay [leur] order“. Paypal offered certain advantages to its customers, such as payment in three or four installments free of charge or even protection against scams. Users had the possibility to report disputes on the payment platform and to put a payment in brackets until the resolution of the dispute, such as a lost parcel or a non-compliant item. Vinted does, however, offer a “buyer protection», invoiced in addition to the purchase of a product. It thus amounts to 70 centimes, to which are added 5% of the price of the article.
