Vinicius rejects Saudi offer with unimaginable salary

Real Madrid do not want to sell Vinicius, whose release clause is worth one billion euros, and the player is tied to a contract until 2027 after signing a renewal in 2022.

Journalist Mario Cortegana said that a delegation from the Saudi Investment Fund has already contacted Vinicius’ representatives, in an attempt to convince him to join the Saudi League and become an ambassador for Saudi Arabia before the 2034 World Cup.

For his part, the 24-year-old star rejected the offer and stressed his commitment to continuing with Real Madrid, and his desire to achieve more titles and win the Golden Ball while wearing the Merengue jersey.

The journalist in The Athletic newspaper reported that the Saudi side will renew its interest in contracting with Vinicius, again despite the failure the first time, and on the other hand, Real Madrid rejects the idea of the departure of the Brazilian player, whose contract expires in 2027.

It is worth noting that Vinicius Junior has a release clause in his contract with Real Madrid worth one billion euros, and this is a number that will be difficult to break, especially since the largest amount paid was for his compatriot Neymar, when he moved from Barcelona to Paris Saint-Germain, for 222 million euros.

Vinicius joined Real Madrid for €45 million from Brazilian club Flamengo in 2018.

Since then, he has scored 93 goals in 263 appearances for the club in all competitions, winning three La Liga titles, two Champions Leagues and two Club World Cups with the club.
