A player in the preparations for organizing the 2024 Summer Games, with a strong presence on the construction site of the Athletes’ Village in Seine-Saint-Denis and as a component of the Stade de France Consortium, VINCI joins the Paris 2024 adventure as an Official Supporter.

During the week, the Organizing Committee for the Olympic and Paralympic Games (COJO) of Paris 2024 recorded the arrival of two new Official Supporters, with on the one hand, the RATP Group And on the other hand, VINCI.
With these arrivals, the COJO is gradually approaching the milestone of 70 Global and national partnerscounting at this stage 66 sponsorsdistributed according to the various levels from the lowest to the highest, i.e. 32 Official Supporters*, 14 Official Partners, 6 Partners Premium and the 14 World Olympic Partners.
Pour VINCIthe commitment to Paris 2024 concretizes participation in the efforts of preparations to host the Games carried out for several years.
As a global player in concessions, energy and construction, with some 272,000 employees – including more than 100,000 in France – present in more than 120 countries across the planet, VINCI thus ensures the realization and support of the development of the project Universeine which is an integral part of the Athletes’ Village.

During the spring of 2023, the project took a new turn with the start, via the real estate subsidiary VINCI Immobilierthe very first marketing operation for the residence Apogee. Designed from low-carbon concrete – and thereby taking up one of the Group’s environmental commitments which aims to reduce CO² emissions by 40% – this residence will be one of the buildings dedicated to housing athletes at the occasion of the Games, before becoming a component of the eco-district built on 51 hectares between Saint-Denis, Saint-Ouen and L’Île-Saint-Denis.
VINCI is also present on another key piece of equipment for the next Games and, more generally, for sport and events in France.
The Group is in fact one of the two players – with Bouygues Construction – of the Stade de France Consortium which will host the athletics competitions in 2024, as well as the Closing Ceremonies of the Olympic Games (August 11, 2024), then the Paralympic Games (September 8, 2024).
* The number of Official Supporters can be counted at 33 considering the fact that the World Olympic Partner Atos is also an Official Supporter of Paris 2024.
