RUMAH production Dee Company officially released the trailer for the crime horror film, Vina: Before 7 Days, on their official YouTube channel, which is based on the true story of victims of motorbike gangs in Cirebon.
“So, when we agreed with the family that we wanted to film Vina’s story, we listened carefully to what the deceased’s life was like when she was alive,” said Dee Company Producer and CEO, Dheeraj Kalwani, quoted from a press statement, Monday (22/4).
According to Dheeraj, this film not only tells the sad story of a victim named Vina which went viral some time ago. However, this film will also tell the story of Vina, who often experiences bullying.
“Actually, Vina is a brave person, she fought back once morest bullies. But because she was beaten up, she mightn’t win,” he said.

Marliana, Vina’s older sister, responded to the idea that this film exploits Vina’s family trauma.
Marliana emphasized that there was deep thought before agreeing to make this film project.
“We need days of discussion, but who will remember Vina if it’s not filmed? Currently there are still suspects out there, they haven’t been caught, if Vina is forgotten, who will provide justice?” he stressed.

Regarding the trauma experienced by the family, Marlina admitted that she might not forget her feelings of sadness following Vina left her. However, he hopes that through this film there will be more people who will pray for his younger brother.
“Sad, at least by being filmed there will be more people praying,” said Marliana.
Meanwhile, Director Anggy Umbara admitted that he agreed with the thoughts of Vina’s family. In fact, Anggy and the production team have involved Vina’s family in the process of making the film Vina: Before 7 Days.

“From the start, we involved Vina’s family. In fact, the family had brought the scenario before filming, so we really paid attention to the feelings of Vina’s family,” said Anggy.
On the other hand, Nayla D Purnama, who plays Vina, hopes that this film can be a warning not to act carelessly.
