In front of nearly sixty members, Monique Lassort, president of Ensemble et solidaires-UNRPA, opened the general assembly of her association on Thursday January 19, 2023 in the presence of Lyliane Orlando, head of the southern sector, Bruno Maréchal, the mayor of Villefranche- sur-Cher, and elected.
A minute of silence was observed in memory of two members who left in 2022. It was also an opportunity to look back on the past year, which proved to be satisfactory with the 100th anniversary of a member, the delivery of parcels for 80 years and over followed by a Christmas meal at L’Auberge de la Tour in Mennetou, sauerkraut, river boat…
The 2023 activities were also presented: Friday February 10, dancing sauerkraut; Monday March 6, Royal Music Palace in Mehun-sur-Yèvre; Thursday 25 May, belote competition with cheese; Thursday, September 7, country meal; Friday October 20, dancing paella; Friday, November 24, belote competition and Friday, December 15, end-of-year meal.
The moral and financial reports were validated unanimously and a call for volunteers was launched. After difficult years, everyone is delighted to see the section of Villefranche-sur-Cher grow.
