The Villanova Wildcats women’s water polo team launched their season with a dominant 12-6 victory over Mount St. Mary’s. Emily McKenzie ignited the scoring frenzy with her first of three goals,propelling the Wildcats to an impressive lead by halftime.

“I’m incredibly proud of the team’s effort today,” said Head Coach Amelia Jones. “From the start, they showed a lot of poise and determination. We were able to demonstrate our offensive strength and defensive resilience, which is exactly what we were hoping to achieve in this first game.”

Riley Hull spearheaded the offensive charge, netting five goals and showcasing her offensive prowess. Coach Jones praised Hull’s performance, stating, “Riley was truly unstoppable today.She’s been working incredibly hard in the off-season, and it’s evident in her game.”
