O Villagio Embu Resort & Conventionlocated in Embu das Artes (SP), a city with a rich history and vibrant culture, offers a structure for holding events of all types, from corporate meetings, congresses, birthday parties, weddings, among others. The region is known by tourists for its art, crafts and gastronomy.
Located 30 minutes from the capital São Paulo, Villagio Embu has event spaces capable of accommodating up to 4 thousand people. With more than 50 years of history, the resort has welcomed guests such as players from the 1970 Brazilian national team, traditional football clubs, the actress Suzi Rego, actor Nizo Neto (son of artist Chico Anysio) and dog Olivia Golden.
In 2022, under new management, the hotel began to operate more actively in the events and leisure area, maintaining its traditional structure and architecture preserved in harmony with the nature that surrounds it. Gilberto Pacheco, CMO of the resort, states that the fact that the hotel is located in the middle of the Atlantic Forest allows guests to admire Brazilian nature.
The development has three categories of Convention Centers: Jardins, Azaléia and Taquaral. Each Convention Center is made up of several rooms of different sizes, with or without support rooms and different spaces for coffee breaks. The rooms have flexible configurations that can be adapted to meet the specific demands of the event. In addition to infrastructure for conferences, the resort also offers the Cipreste Space, designed for social events and smaller get-togethers.
City attractions also encourage tourism
Around the resort there are some tourist attractions. An example, in the executive’s view, is Animália Park, an indoor amusement park. In an area of 10 thousand square meters and 17 attractions (children and family), aimed at the whole family.

The historic center of Embu is a journey back in time, says Gilberto: “Charming streets, colonial mansions, historic churches and museums tell the city’s history. The Jesuit Sacred Art Museum houses a rich collection of works of religious art, such as sculptures, paintings and liturgical objects”, he highlights.
The Centro Cultural Mestre de Assis Abreu, Espaço Cultural Quiproko and Viela das Lavadeiras are other tourist attractions highlighted by the resort’s representative, with the third being one of the most charming spots in the historic center, with colorful houses and fountains. of water.
“Finally, as a culmination, the Art and Crafts Fair, which is the city’s main attraction, the Embu fair, brings together artisans from different parts of the country, who exhibit and sell unique pieces of crafts, such as ceramics, sculptures, paintings , jewelry and much more. The fair takes place on weekends and holidays”, he concludes.
