During the very long journey of 1301, the ship MS Braemar, renamed Villa Vie Odyssey, will crisscross the waters to dock in 425 ports located in 147 countries around the world.

At the end of the trip, the company’s goal is to restart a similar trip immediately, so that the cruise never stops.

It will have a capacity of 924 people.

These will have at their disposal some eight decks, three restaurants, eight bars, four lounges, a spa, a library and an infirmary.

According to Villa Vie Residences CEO Mikael Patterson, “it’s not so much a cruise, but more of a lifestyle, a house with a backyard that keeps changing every day.”

Villa Vie Residences is not the first company to offer such a long cruise, although this year the Life at Sea company offered a three-year cruise.

However, this was canceled because the company was unable to acquire a ship.

Tickets for the 1301 days of the cruise start at $97,000 US ($130,000 Canadian) for a rented cabin.

Stays including only certain segments of the journey are also offered for those who are not ready to invest as much time in such an adventure.

It is also possible to reserve a cabin for 15 years, potentially allowing these people to live for more than a decade at sea.
