The National University of Villa María (UNVM) participates in the “University Night” event organized by the National Interuniversity Council and will be held nationwide this Thursday at 7 pm to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the founding of the University of Liberty.
In Villa Maria, activities will be concentrated at the centrally located diocesan headquarters, on a grid connected between UNVM and the National Technical University – Regional College of Villa Maria. However, events are also held on campus, at UTN, and other venues.
The day, which includes lectures, exhibitions, concerts and guided tours, seeks to shine a light on the impact of university work on society, within the framework of an intense discussion about the functioning of national universities.

The event will bring together students, teaching, research, postgraduate and non-teaching staff from Villa Maria, Villa Rosario, San Francisco and Córdoba. In addition, it will provide academic and cultural proposals around science, technology, research and university expansion.
Activities in Villa Maria
A sample of undergraduate and graduate courses will be held on the UTN campus starting at 4 p.m. Additionally, guided tours of the same campus, including workshops, labs, and competitions, will be offered at 4 and 5 p.m.
In the evening, activities will focus on the UNVM parish and other spaces. There will be a “Science on Demand” event from 7 to 11 p.m., featuring seven science booths, while a UNVM academic communications booth will provide career advice and registration information. At 7 p.m., Mauro Guzmán will give the oral narration at the parish.
National University of Villamaria (UNVM)
At 8 pm, the President of Popular Music II will give the concert “Proyecto Creciente III” at the Cultural Factory. At the same time, there will also be discussions with researchers from UNVM and CONICET in Coronados, and the “Bus to University” event will begin at the bus terminal.
At 9 p.m., at the UNVM Parish, there will be a presentation on the UNVM and UTN connection experience, followed by a performance by the Nonino Choir. This will be followed by a screening of the “Diseno Filma” video, which includes the work of BA Audiovisual Design and Production students, accompanied by music by Marcelo Suárez, a BA Composition student.
A meeting will be held at the rectory from 10pm to midnight that day.
San Francisco, Villa del Rosario and Córdoba
While the schedule is focused on Villa Maria, events will also take place at the UNV headquarters in Córdoba, Villa Rosario and San Francisco.
In the city of Cordoba, the UNVM headquarters (Enrique Finochietto 240) will offer guest bands and art exhibitions from 7 to 11 p.m.
At 8 p.m., “Journey Through Time, Ghosts of the Old Hospital” will be performed at Villa del Rosario. The event is a joint effort of UNVM with the Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Municipal Youth, the Municipal Theatre, the A. Ginastera Conservatory of Music, the “Magnolia” dancers, independent musicians and the Historical Committee of Villa del Rosario. The event will be held at the UNVM headquarters located at Obispo Ferreyra 411.
In the case of San Francisco, the Industrial Design Exhibition and Reading takes place at San Francisco Tech. Afternoon activities are from 7pm to 11pm.
