Viggo Mortensen, Leonardo DiCaprio, and Joaquin Phoenix in the next Paul Thomas Anderson?

Add in Rachael Taylor and Regina Hall, and this roster of actors is a cast that already promises to be sensational.

Alert ! The latest issue of Production Weekly (relayed on World of Real) released an announcement for the new movie of Paul Thomas Andersondirector of the recent Licorice Pizza. It is indicated there that Leonardo DiCaprio, Viggo Mortensen, Regina Hall, Joaquin Phoenix et Rachael Taylor would be the elected officials of the next PTA. Only DiCaprio — who had refused the main role of Boogie Nights to do Titanic — is said to be in negotiations for the film, the inclusion of the other actors in the cast being speculative for the moment. The name of Phoenixhowever, does not surprise, the actor having collaborated twice with the filmmaker, in 2012 for The Master and in 2014 for Inherent Vice.

The Master: a masterpiece, without God or master [critique]

The cast is growing as production on the project is set to begin this year, with filming this summer in Los Angeles, for a possible theatrical release in 2024. There are currently no plot details for the film, or at least only unfounded rumors, and it will be necessary to be patient before knowing more. Because on the canvas, the next creation of Paul Thomas Anderson might just as much be a movie regarding a father and daughter with a subplot involving martial arts, as an adaptation of Vinelanda novel by Thomas Pynchon which takes place in California and extends from 1960 to the 80s, once morest a backdrop of struggle between libertarian movements.
