On the eve of the opening match at the 2023 Asian U20 Championship, coach Hoang Anh Tuan announced good news to the fans.
At noon on February 28, coach Hoang Anh Tuan attended a press conference before the group stage of the 2023 Asian U20 Championship.
Talking about the preparation process of U20 Vietnam, coach Hoang Anh Tuan said: “We have 3 weeks of preparation. Currently, the best players have gathered with the team. We have completed the preparation of two friendlies against Saudi Arabia and Dubai City FC.”
As for the cold weather in Fergana, the captain of U20 Vietnam thinks that this is an advantage for him and his students.
“Vietnam is hot, but here it is cold. Fergana’s climate is suitable for matches. The weather is cold but the air is fresh and pleasant.
The current health situation has partly shown that. No one on the team was injured. We are ready for the match against U20 Australia with 100% of the force, “said Tuan.
Evaluating more about the opponent on the opening day, coach Hoang Anh Tuan said: “During my work, I faced U17, U19 and followed U23 Australia. We respect Australia U20. They have strengths and weaknesses.”
According to the schedule, the match between U20 Vietnam and U20 Australia in the framework of Group B of the AFC U20 Championship 2023 will take place at 5:00 pm Vietnam at Istiqlol Stadium (Fergana, Uzbekistan).
