2023-07-05 13:45:22

He has begun the process once morest an artist and producer from the Viennese music industry, who is charged with multiple rapes at the Korneuburg Regional Court.

DISTRICT KORNEUBURG. The 40-year-old is said to have made four women submissive and later raped them using knockout drops that he mixed in their drinks. This is said to have happened, among other things, in his recording studio in the Tulln district.
The trial once morest the previously criminally impeccable man began today, Wednesday. In addition to rape, he is also accused of bodily harm, continued use of violence and dangerous threats, as reported by ORF Lower Austria. The public prosecutor’s office also requested admission to a forensic therapy center.

In custody since 2021

Two women started the case with their complaints, independently of each other. The accused musician has been in custody since December 2021. Five other women have since filed a complaint, including three of the man’s former partners.
As ORF Lower Austria reports, a psychiatric report also attests to the great danger that the 40-year-old poses. In addition, the probability is very high that he might commit further criminal acts.

“Revealing Scene”

Defender Klaus Ainedter, who focused on the lack of objectifiable evidence, explained that the music industry is a “permissive scene”. With counter-opinions, he also contradicted the psychiatric expertise. The defendant pleaded not guilty but gave no further details.

It will continue in August

The process will continue next week and in early August.
