In another tweet, Ulyanov denied Russia and China’s opposition to the new draft proposed by the European Union on the 20th of last month, saying that the draft was what was developed by the negotiating parties, including Russia and China, while saying that the European Union had made “recently useful modifications.”
The Russian delegate confirmed that Moscow and Beijing fully support these amendments.

Meanwhile, the Russian delegate said, in media statements reported by Iranian news agencies, that the negotiations are moving in the “right direction”, stressing that the remaining issues “are few, and they are three or four, some of which have been almost resolved.”
Regarding his expectations regarding the timetable for reaching the agreement, Ulyanov said, “We are talking regarding days, not weeks, and I will not be surprised if we reach success in a very short period of time.”
However, the Russian delegate stressed that “it is not possible to guarantee that an agreement will be reached unless all issues are agreed upon.”
For his part, Mora told the correspondent of the Iranian “IRNA” agency in Vienna, following his separate talks with the chief Iranian negotiator Ali Bagheri Kani and the US envoy for Iranian affairs Robert Malley, that “the negotiations are in progress,” stressing that he is “optimistic” regarding their outcome.
Meanwhile, Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian held talks with United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres on Sunday on the Israeli attacks on Gaza, the nuclear negotiations file and the situation in Yemen.
