Vienna – Vienna is increasing the allowances for employees in the hospitals of the health association (WIGEV). Mayor Michael Ludwig (SPÖ) announced this in a press conference with the responsible members of the city government as well as representatives of WIGEV and the union on Friday. The measures are scheduled to take effect from February 1, 2024, and an additional 150 million euros will be made available for this purpose.
