SINGER Vidi Aldiano successfully conquered the Pestapora 2024 music festival stage last weekend, Sunday (22/9). In front of thousands of spectators who watched his performance, Vidi performed energetically and successfully entertained the audience.
But who would have thought, behind Vidi’s energetic that night, it turned out he was holding back pain. After finishing his performance, the singer of the song Nuansa Bening was immediately rushed to the emergency room, this was revealed by Vidi in an upload on his Instagram social media account.
“Successfully conquered the Pestapora stage last night in less than ideal conditions. Want to be proud of the body that managed to endure the pain from the afternoon, until the end of the performance finally gave up and went straight to the emergency room,” Vidi wrote in his upload.
Despite feeling pain since the afternoon, the 34-year-old singer admitted that the pain felt faint while on stage. He was confused by it and thought that the positive energy given by the audience was what disguised his pain.
“But that’s the miracle of the stage for me. No matter what miracle God gives, every time on stage the pain can faintly disappear. Maybe thanks to the positive energy from all of you last night that was incredibly healing,” he said.
Vidi also admitted that his condition is currently improving and will rest fully for the next few days. For Vidi, his appearance at Pestapora 2024 was a valuable experience, he admitted that singing at a music festival was a rare thing for him because he was not confident in doing it.
“Honestly, I rarely take the festival stage because I always feel unworthy and it seems like no one wants to watch. But since last night, I feel more confident to take the next festival stages,” he said.
It is not known in detail what illness Vidi was suffering from when he appeared at Pestapora, but it is known that the husband of artist Sheila Dara Aisha was diagnosed with kidney cancer and is still undergoing regular special treatment. (M-3)
