This Wednesday a little before 8:30 p.m., a gang of around thirty men, some of whom were hooded, carried out what looks like an organized expedition once morest the Falstaff café located along the Bourse, in the center of Brussels.
The terrace furniture, which was used as a projectile, was completely destroyed, as was the large window of the establishment, which broke following the impacts.
The images taken by the surveillance cameras, which we were able to recover, testify to the violence of the scene and the panic which seized the brewery. “I believed in an attack”, testified a server in La DH. Fortunately, no injuries were reported.
The police zone confirmed that a fight “between supporters” broke out, without giving further details. It might be an expedition led by some Anderlecht fans once morest supporters of Young Boys Berne, the Swiss team who will face Les Mauves this Thursday evening. The trail of reprisals, following incidents that occurred last week during the first leg in Switzerland, cannot be ruled out. Last Wednesday, 30 to 40 purple fans had indeed been attacked by Swiss hooligans.
An investigation is underway.
