After the escape of four criminals from El Pedregal prison was confirmed on August 5, Minuto30 learned of videos recorded inside the prison that show how these people escaped.
In the images, it can be seen that the prisoners escaped by jumping over the security fence, including the barbed wire, in order to escape.
The INPEC confirmed the incident after a count of inmates, and since then a large-scale operation has been launched to locate him.

The fugitives were identified as Arboleda Garcia Hildebrando, Yordan Enrique Guerra Urbano, Leonardo Piedrahita Tamayo and Jhan Carlos Palacio.
These criminals were held in Ward 5 for crimes such as extortion, homicide, theft and drug trafficking.
This is the second mass breakout recorded at El Pedregal prison since its inauguration. In 2010, six inmates managed to evade the prison’s security, exposing the vulnerabilities of the system.
