New coverage presented by Al-Youm Al-Sabea TV, on the forecasts of the Meteorological Authority for the weather during the coming hours, which is expected to witness a significant rise in temperatures, with values ranging from 3 to 8 degrees.
The Meteorological Authority said that hot weather is expected to prevail during the coming hours during the day in Greater Cairo, Lower Egypt, South Sinai and northern Upper Egypt, warm on the northern coasts and hot in southern Upper Egypt.
And the meteorologist added, on its Facebook page, that the weather for the coming hours will witness a new drop in temperatures at night in most parts.
For her part, Dr. Manar Ghanem, a member of the Meteorological Authority’s media center, said that the weather today is witnessing a rise in temperatures, to record 26 degrees Celsius.
Ghanem explained that the rise in temperatures will continue throughout the days of the current week, advising the need to be careful and avoid exposure to sunlight so as not to increase the sensation of high temperatures during fasting, while consuming soft drinks and liquids throughout the hours of rain and the time of Suhoor.
It is also expected that the weather today will witness cloudy water in the morning on some roads leading to and from Greater Cairo, Lower Egypt, the northern coasts, canal cities, central Sinai and northern Upper Egypt, and the winds will be active on areas of the far northwestern coasts at intermittent intervals.
As for the state of the Mediterranean, it will be light to moderate, and the wave height in it will be from one to 1.5 meters, and the surface winds will be southwesterly to southeasterly.
As for the state of the Red Sea, it will be light to moderate, and the wave height in it will be from one to 1.75 meters, and the surface wind will be northwesterly.
And the expected temperatures for the coming hours will be as follows:
Over Greater Cairo and Lower Egypt, the largest is 27 and the smallest is 15
On the northern coasts, the Great 25 and the Small 14
On South Sinai, Greater 28 and Lesser 17
In northern Upper Egypt, the largest is 28 and the minor is 13
On the south of Upper Egypt, the largest is 30 and the minor is 16
