Video: voracious fire in a bus depot and a bin in Berazategui

On Wednesday afternoon, ten crews of firefighters fought a fire in a bus yard and a trash can on the border between the Buenos Aires districts of Berazategui and Florencio Varela, Buenos Aires, reported sources from the Volunteer Firefighters of that district.

“In the place there are buses without use and, apparently, the fire was intentional because they were throwing Molotov cocktails, according to the radio of the municipal monitoring center,” said sources from the Volunteer Fire Department, noting that “there are no injuries or evacuees.”

According to official sources, “the entire terminal is on fire. The magnitude of the fire is great and it reached the trash can”.

The fire that consumed the depot of Line 129 of the Misión Buenos Aires buses, formerly Grupo Plaza and Río de La Plata, reached the Sein y Cia SA paper mill, adjacent to the site.

“The fire is not controlled and more crews will arrive at the place,” they stated at 4:40 p.m. on Wednesday afternoon.

The company has bus routes that operate throughout Buenos Aires, including Quilmes, La Matanza, Avellaneda, Distrito Federal, Lomas De Zamora, Berazategui, Ensenada, Florencio Varela.
