The facts occurred Tuesday morning, in Massachusetts. Thick smoke and flames rose from the lead cars as the train was on the bridge between Wellington and Somerville, outside Boston, in the eastern United States.
The flames led passengers to escape through the windows of the train, as shown in the video at the top of this article. One woman even preferred to dive into the Mystic River below. Fortunately, she escaped unscathed.
