“We discovered a Russian electronic warfare complex and shot it with the help of a drone,” the Ukrainian National Guard said in a statement, according to the “Privada” website.

“In this way, the artillery deprived the Russians of the opportunity to intercept the Ukrainian defense forces,” he added, describing the strike as “painful for the enemy.”

The National Guard also published a video clip that monitors the moment of monitoring and destroying the “Russian Electronic Warfare Center.” The video shows smoke rising from the building.

According to the statement, Russia spends half a billion dollars annually on such systems.

Ukrainian losses in Kharkiv

Yesterday, Wednesday, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky admitted that his country’s forces were incurring heavy losses in the fighting once morest Russian forces in both the city of Severodonetsk and the Kharkiv region.

“Ukraine now needs modern anti-missile weapons,” he said in a letter, noting that there might be no justification for partner countries to delay their delivery.

But he made it clear that he needs more long-range weapons, in order to repel the Russian forces, especially in the Donbass region, where fierce battles have been raging for weeks.

In another speech to the Czech parliament, Zelensky called for tightening European Union sanctions once morest Russia over its invasion of his country on February 24.

He added, “Russia is not only interested in our cities, Mariupol, Severodonetsk, Kharkiv and Kiev, no, its ambitions are directed to a vast area stretching from Warsaw to Sofia,” without referring to evidence of what he says.

Cluster munition bombing

As the battles continued in Kharkiv, Amnesty International said, last Monday, that “the continuous Russian bombing of the city of Kharkiv in eastern Ukraine and the dumping of mines known as scattered mines amount to a war crime that has resulted in the indiscriminate killing of hundreds of civilians.”

She explained that she found, in Investigation Lasting 14 days in April and early May, evidence of Russia’s use of “cluster munitions and scattered mines in Kharkiv”.

The organization added in a report that “the repeated bombing of residential neighborhoods in indiscriminate attacks resulted in the death and injury of hundreds of civilians, and therefore this constitutes war crimes.”

Moscow has previously denied targeting civilians and accused Ukraine of falsifying evidence that Russian forces committed war crimes.

Kharkiv, the second largest city in Ukraine, was subjected to almost continuous bombardment since the beginning of the Russian invasion on February 24, until Ukrainian forces expelled the Russians from the city in May.
