Al-Jadeed correspondent reported that the marine rescue teams of the Civil Defense managed to retrieve the body of one of the drowned people in the agricultural pond used to collect water from the Yamouna spring in the Bouday plain.
The Lebanese army had announced on Twitter that members of the Divers of the Sea Commandos Regiment were transported by an Air Force helicopter to Bouday, where they are participating in the process of rescuing two young men who fell into a pond of agricultural water.
Al-Jadeed correspondent in the Bekaa had reported the death of two teenagers, aged 16 and 17, as a result of their drowning in an agricultural pond to collect water from the Birket al-Yamouneh spring in the town of Bouday while they were swimming in it, while divers and civil defense teams were trying to retrieve the two bodies.
