The US Ambassador to Lebanon, Dorothy Shea, visited the artist, Rami Ayyash, at his home, to congratulate him and his wife, fashion designer Dalida Ayyash, on the arrival of their newborn, Alara. Ayyash published a video clip of the American ambassador, in which she appeared carrying his daughter, sending a message to her.
Shea said: “Alara, what I want to say is you are welcome in this world. We are very happy to meet you and very happy to have you in the family. I hope that we will be able to find solutions to the problems in your homeland, and to make this homeland a wonderful place to enjoy your rich heritage, and to walk on footsteps and glories of your family.”
Ayyash was previously a guest at a monthly evening entitled “Meet the Artist”, where Shea praised Ayyash’s charitable work through the “Ayyash Childhood” charity that he runs, in addition to expressing at the time her desire to hear the artistic and professional experience. Which Ayyash took until he reached the world of fame.
