The fire, which can be seen several kilometers away, originated in a tennis and clothing market located between Eje 1 Norte and González Ortega street
Capital firefighters reported that they are already working in the area to control the flames.

Sandra Cuevas asks for support
Sandra Cuevas, Mayor of Cuauhtémoc He asked the neighboring mayors to support with water pipes to attend to the emergency.

There are no injuries, reports Batres
Martí Batres, Secretary of Government of Mexico City, reported that there are no injuries from the fire where around 70 capital firefighters and 25 Civil Protection elements work.
