A farewell tour organized at the Dôme de Paris
At the end of January 2024, Sylvie Vartan announced on her Instagram account that she would soon perform on stage for the last time, posting the following message: “It is with a lot of love and emotion that I will meet you at the Dôme de Paris for my farewell tour”. Guest on the set of the show Daily (TMC), Sylvie Vartan recently mentioned the end of his career. She first declared to Yann Barthès: “I was very privileged to have long wonderful moments that I shared with the public because in fact, I started singing on stage almost straight away”. She then added: “I’ve been singing for sixty years.” Yann Barthès then asked him: “Is this really the last show?” Question to which Ilona Smet’s grandmother answered: “But yes. It’s also a question of respect for people. The years pass and you have to know how to leave without strengthspeechless, that’s sad, I think.”
