Video shows: Why Marco Odermatt became a skier and not a cross-country skier

For Marco Odermatt, relaxation is the order of the day following his third overall victory in the Ski World Cup. As a video shows, the Swiss can’t do it without skis.

But instead of Alpine skis as usual, the 26-year-old in Norway decided to try cross-country skis.

On a short descent, Odermatt is as daring as usual, but not quite as confident. He slips and ends up on his butt.

Odermatt takes the “Bretzn” appropriately humorously and laughs into the camera of the Norwegian skier Kaspar Kindem. The latter posted the video on Instagram – with the comment “not so stable”:
