An alleged thief was detained by residents of the city of La Calera, Gran Córdoba, minutes following entering a house with apparent robbery intentions.
The event happened this Sunday at noon on a S/N public street, in the 12 de Octubre neighborhood, when three thieves entered the family home, according to the complaint. The victims realized the actions of the criminals and asked their neighbors for help.
Thus they managed to arrest a suspect.
The man was held on the floor until a police mobile arrived.
As indicated by the security force, the individual was attacked by neighbors and was transferred to the La Calera hospital for assistance.
For his part, Franco Icazatti, a resident of the town and administrator of the page “Basta de robos-La Calera” (which uploaded the video of the arrest) said that before this robbery they wanted to enter the neighborhood center of the neighborhood, the residents themselves they chased them away

Since they might not take anything, the thieves broke the tanks of the headquarters. “They are from other nearby neighborhoods. Here, insecurity does not let up and nothing is done regarding it,” said the neighbor.
In addition, he stated that the Police told them that the victims do not file complaints, “but they do. This city, with almost 50,000 inhabitants, has few motives and the Police have no tools, ”he remarked.
So far in January, he said, there have been more than 30 robberies and attempted robberies. Despite the fact that they hold demonstrations, he stressed that “they never have answers.”
