Real Madrid kept the three points at home against Valladolid on Sunday’s second matchday of La Liga in Santiago Bernabeau. The Royal, with Thibaut Courtois between the posts for the entire match, did not encounter any problems and won 3-0.
After a goalless first half, Real, who played dominant football with around seventy percent ball possession, took the lead shortly after the break via a deflected free kick from Federico Valverde (50′). The Madrid star ensemble, led by Kylian Mbappé, emphatically went in search of the safe 2-0, but that took a long time to come, leaving a possible equalizer hanging in the air.

The reassurance for the capital’s players only came in the 88th minute, when Brahim Diaz handled a long ball from Eder Militão well and put it over goalkeeper Karl Hein. Debutant Endrick (90+6.) secured the 3-0 final score with a fine shot in extra time.
