Faced with the refusal, the young man withdrew. However, the owner of the confectionery, attentive to the criminal modality that plagues the gastronomic shops, he asked the client if she had her phone number. Indeed, the suspect had taken the victim’s cell phone without her noticing.
Immediately the manager ran, tackled the offender and held him until the arrival of the police.
“When I saw him come in, I was already attentive. I was at the bar and from there I didn’t see if I had stolen anything”, recounted Martín, the owner of the cafeteria.
Once the event happened, and the young thief was contained, the 42-year-old merchant told him that if he wanted to work he offered her a place because he needed people in his local.
“He replied ‘Don, I’ll go out tomorrow and come see him’”he recounted and added that when he leaned over to shake hands “The kid dropped a tear”.
“If you want, you have another option. At least you know you have it.that you don’t have to grab the wrong path. He was very young and perhaps nobody gave him a chance. I don’t know. I tried to do something that was within my reach”, Martín continued, excited.
