The 2023 edition of the Italian eyewear fair ended on Monday and the results are very positive: it recorded 35,000 visitors (60% more than in 2022). Its organizers even speak of the “beginning of a new era, with figures confirming the leadership of the eyewear show”.
In numbers :
- 80% of visitors came from Europe, and 20% from the rest of the world.
- 53% of total entries were Italian.
- Among the thousand exhibitors present, Italy represents 28%, and abroad 72%.
- Foreign buyers are 51% represented by Europe, 42% by Asia and 7% by the rest of the world.
Giovanni Vitaloni, President of Mido, is very satisfied: “we brought together the entire industry in the sector in Milan, everyone was able to do good business, and above all this confirms the importance of trade fairs like Mido play a very important role as an accelerator for meeting new people, discovering the latest innovations and establishing relationships with new customers and suppliers”.
