As expected, the turquoise-green coalition presented a package as a result of its meeting in Mauerbach on Wednesday, with which the expansion of renewable energies should go faster. The government has done next to nothing to combat the shortage of skilled workers – a working group is being set up here. The gradual abolition of blocked partial retirement was agreed. Chancellor Karl Nehammer (ÖVP) spoke of a good start to the year.
